The Quattro LabPrep CCC™ has been designed to allow the Counter Current Chromatography user the freedom to upgrade as their budget, CCC knowledge and requirements increase. The instrument is modular, thus a 710 body with a small coil ( typically of approximately 100 ml ) and a counter balance can be purchased for a modest cost. Next, several options exist. Either another matched coil of the same capacity can be purchased, thus doubling the volume.
Or alternatively a matched research coil optimization pair of bobbins ( slide 3 ) or the large capacity, 1100 ml potted stainless steel coil could be fitted into the same 710 body. Such options would give the user the capability of process optimization research or the capability of 5 to 20+ gram injections.
But
the upgrade capabilities are not limited just to the 710 body.
