What is a PrepPlus™ ?
A PrepPlus™ is a additional, cased rotor module, that simply bolts
to the side of your existing Quattro CCC™ Mk 5 and is controlled
and driven by your existing motor and control electronics. This allows
low-cost, very cost-effective, modular expansion of the capacity and throughput
of all Quattro CCC™ Mk 5's; a feature unique to the Quattro CCC™
Mk 5
For both the QuikPrep™ and LabPrep™, their PrepPlus™
are aluminium constructed, LabPrep™ sized modules, thus the capacity
could be increased by up to 1600 ml, to give a total capacity of a LabPrep™
+ PrepPlus™ of approximately 3200ml with 16 to 64 g loading capacity.
For the PilotPrep™, this PrepPlus™ is a stainless steel constructed
PilotPrep™ sized module, thus the capacity could be increased by
up to 3200 ml, to give a total capacity of a PilotPrep™ + PrepPlus™
of approximately 6400ml with 32 to 128 g loading capacity. As the flow
rates used in a Quattro CCC™ are a fraction of that used in a process
HPLC, the overall cost of 100g capacity CCC is also much less expensive
that a 1000ml/min prep HPLC installation capable of 100+g "on-column"
loadings, inclusive of pump, hplc column, etc, PLUS YOU HAVE NO
ONGOING SOLID HPLC STATIONARY PHASE COSTS, OR CHANCE TO POISON YOUR SOLID
STATIONARY PHASE, OR FOR THIS SOLID PHASE TO ADSORB / CHEMICALLY ALTER
YOUR TARGET !!!.

After ten years of continuous research, these studies have now come
to fulfilment with the recent release of our Modular Quattro CCC™
Mk 5. These evolved; CE Marked Designs finally allow liquid –
liquid chromatography
to define research and process scale methodology as logically / predictably
as solid – liquid techniques such as Flash or HPLC, but they also
offer massive process cost savings, plus all the accepted CCC benefits;
including no loss or degradation of target compound.
The Quattro CCC™ Mk 5 laboratory series consists of the low-cost
entry model, the QuikPrep™ (from UK £8,800), and LabPrep™
, plus the PilotPrep™ .
By adding a PrepPlus™ laboratory Quattro
CCC™ can therefore grow with your increasing needs, up to 3000
ml (approx 60+g injection), with predictable scale up, as they all share
the same sun and planet radii, beta values, rev rate, temperature control
range etc. See next section for specification and price details.
Coil Options include bores of 0.5, 0.8, 1.0,
1.5, 2.0, 2.4, 3.0, 3.2, 4.0, 5, 6, 7 to 10+ mm id in PTFE or Stainless
Steel etc tubing. All coils are potted in aircraft adhesive and come
with a full two-year guarantee.
Any method optimised for bore, linear flow etc on the above can now
be scaled to tonnes per annum by transfer
of the laboratory research methodology to the commercial production
series of ProcessPrep™ which consists of modular, stainless steel
constructed yokes + platter + bobbins + coils + flying lead modules.
The ProcessPrep™ shares all key CCC parameters with all the laboratory
series Quattro CCC™ Mk 5’s, but has no maximum volume and
it offers infinite flexibility of use, plus configuration, which are
fundamental to its modular design.

Feasibility Studies, to assist your consideration of the cost / performance
benefits of utilising a Quattro CCC™ in your laboratory or industrial
