Off-Line Features
Helps the user develop new separations and purifications by:
Flash Chromatography simulation from TLC runs
Obtain simulated flash chromatogram using the same solvents and silica
used in a TLC run. Use to forecast good approximation of time to collect
fractions
Solvents Database
Contains a database of the most commonly used flash chromatography solvents.
Containing useful information such as eluting strength, density and
other chemical and physical properties important for the user and software.
Uses may input their own solvents into the database.
Selection of alternative solvents
Once a separation is developed with a specific solvent mix, EasiFlash
can calculate a new mixture in which a solvent is replaced with another
one providing the same eluting power. Particularly useful if one solvent
is unobtainable, dangerous or expensive!
Scale-Up predictions
Using data from a small column, it is possible to obtain the parameters
necessary to scale-up to a larger column and obtain the same separation
Loading of data from TLC runs
From the image of a TLC plate or data obtained from a small column,
the predicted loading capacity of all column sizes is available
Optimum flow rate calculations
EasiSoft will calculate the optimum flow rate to be used in different
conditions to achieve the best results with each cartridge size
