Uniquely we offer multiple bobbin / coil options for all models, because we have an unique modular chassis design, you have with the Quattro CCC various bobbin / coil options that can be fitted. These second / third sets of bobbins can be purchased after initial purchase, and might have different bore; or different bores and different coil material.
You might initially purchase the cheaper, lower backpressure PTFE coils; but later wish to upgrade to high backpressure resistant S/S coils, you can with Quattro CCC.
Doing Process CCC with strict GMP requirements?
Need … Different coil bores? / Different coil materials?
Your existing coil rewound?
Exchangeable coil/bobbin sets.
All possible with a PilotPrep or ProcessPrep
The rotating coil / bobbin / rotor assembly parts of a Quattro CCC are contained within 10 mm thick aluminum chassis components for laboratory units or have all stainless steel construction for process units, to ensure your safety.
Hinges and door interlock bar are of massive construction.
Door interlocks and all electrics are built to required safety standards.
We uniquely have a single pass air flow system in our cabinets, even when temperature control is purchased. This ensures no excessive build up of solvents or vapors inside the rotor chamber
Please take time to compare our safety fitments to our competitors? We believe we massively exceed our competitors' safety facilities !!!
Think of a Quattro CCC as a Prep HPLC column with an electrical power supply, and on/off switch. Like a prep HPLC column it has an inlet (from pump / injector) & outlet (to fraction collector / detector).
All hplc pump, injector, fraction collector, detector etc accessories are as per a Prep/Process HPLC column. We offer you 3 options,
1 Use your existing analytical hplc equipment you may have, as 1 to 10 ml/min flow rates are typically sufficient for most lab Quattro CCC, though faster flows are used for larger pilot/process Quattro CCC with larger coil bores (as with prep/process HPLC, flow used is linear flow-rate dependent, that is a bore doubles, flow rate squares).

As Quattro CCC typically use a third to a tenth of solvent compared to a prep/process HPLC column. Doing similar mass injection by Quattro CCC can result in truly massive cost savings regarding solvent usage, plus the cost & complexity & safety considerations of larger flow HPLC pump etc accessories, required for larger gram to 100grams prep/process HPLC. Please note it is practical to consider 10 to 100, and even kilo per day on a lab scale Quattro CCC. Such mass loadings would require the need for Intrinsically Safe and Expensive, Process Scale HPLC if considering 100 g to kilo + per day preps.
