In
our screening project for the search for anti-oxidative agents from Brazilian
natural sources we have studied 71 Brazilian plant extracts, belonging to 16
species of 5 different families.
In that study, the ethanolic extract
from the leaves of Lantana trifolia was very active, as can be seen from the
EC-50 values shown in the Table.
